Just Juniors Crèche opened in 1994 by Mrs Vani Chetty. Mrs Chetty had a desire of creating a safe environment within the community, for which parents could leave their children, to be cared for and educated.
Just Juniors Crèche had a small beginning, starting with just 2 class groups, but over the years the numbers of students has grown and we now have 10 class groups. Just Juniors Crèche has added more classrooms so that we could accommodate the growing need from parents.
Just Juniors Crèche offers from baby care to Grade R. The baby group is in a separate room that caters for babies from 5 months to 2 ½ years. The room is equipped with their own cots and mattresses, microwave, thermal flask and kitchen utensils. Also available in the baby room is the change room with low pan toilets for potty training. For entertainment they have their own toys, hard plastic jungle gym and slide, a TV and DVD player with educational videos.
The playgroup to Grade R classes follows a program accordingly to their age group. All groups have indoor playtime with educational toys provided by the school, outdoor playtime on the jungle gym equipment, and an allocated learning time. All groups have themes (life skills) incorporated into their learning program. Themes give the children a general knowledge of the everyday environment. Grade RR and Grade R also include a readiness program to get the learner equipped for Primary School.
Just Juniors Crèche provides a safe environment with CCTV surveillance, a playground with a jungle gym, swings and 2 trampolines, lunch for all learners and most importantly we have loving & caring staff that are qualified in their field. Just Juniors also offers transport to and from home by safe reliable drivers. The transport is co-ordinated by the school. Activities during the year include concerts, fun sports day, excursions, fun day activities (water play), picnics, fun walk/run, Mini Debs every 2nd year.
